Roadtrip Mittlerer Westen 2025
Nachdem ich 2024 in Colorado u.a. im Rocky Mountain National Park war und mir dafür den America the Beautiful Pass gekauft habe, hatte ich mir für 2025 überlegt, den Pass weiter zu nutzen, da er ja ein Jahr gültig ist. Aber welche National Parks sollen es denn werden?
Da ich für 2026 zum 100. Geburtstag der Route 66 meine bis dahin längste Reise plane um so lange und intensiv wie möglich die Route 66 zu erleben, fällt z.B. der Grand Canyon weg. Da ich dort aber gerne noch 1-2 Tage wandern möchte, hatte ich mir überlegt, dass ich den doch in meinen Plan für 2025 mit einbeziehe. Und somit hatte ich dann eigentlich auch schon eine grobe Richtung, wo es langgehen soll.
Ich werde daher in Las Vegas starten und im Uhrzeigersinn das Valley of Fire, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches und den Grand Canyon besuchen um dann wieder in Las Vegas anzukommen, wo ich dann noch mit Abreisetag 2 Extratage haben werden.
Auch dieses Jahr geht es im September los, genauer gesagt am 01.09.2025.

After visiting Colorado in 2024, including Rocky Mountain National Park, for which I bought the America the Beautiful Pass, I was thinking about continuing to use the pass for 2025, as it is
valid for one year. But which national parks should it be?
As I am planning my longest trip to date for 2026 for the 100th anniversary of Route 66 in order to experience Route 66 as long and intensively as possible, the Grand Canyon, for example, is not
an option. However, as I would like to hike there for another 1-2 days, I had thought about including it in my plan for 2025. And so I already had a rough idea of where I wanted to go.
I will therefore start in Las Vegas and visit the Valley of Fire, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches and the Grand Canyon in a clockwise direction before arriving back in Las Vegas, where I
will then have 2 extra days including my departure day.
This year's trip will also start in September, on 09/01/2025.
